what we do
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a health profession that specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the effects these disorders have on the functioning nervous system and general health. (i.e. Disorders of the muscles and joints and the effect they have on your nerves and health in general).
So, we know what Chiropractic is, but what does a Chiropractor do?
Chiropractors realise the natural power of the body to heal itself without the use of drugs, and we use non-invasive treatment measures such as adjustments and manipulations.
Chiropractors are primary healthcare practitioners that focus on the relationship between structure (The muscles and joints) and function (Controlled by the nerves). Chiropractors use this relationship to restore and preserve general health and vitality.
Your chiropractor will refer to an appropriate medical specialist should medication or surgery be indicated.
